September 29th,2017.

This Friday was our second day teaching at School Don Bosco.
It was turned of Rocio's group. They were in charge of teaching Listening, It was about of ''Household Chores''. Katy stated with a great hats activity. She provided them 3 hats of different colors, so they had to pass the 3 hats while the teacher played a music; and when the music stopped, Katy mentioned a color, for example, she said ''green'', so who had the green hat should answer a question Katy asked. The kids really enjoyed that.

Then Katy introduced the vocabulary with a memory game activity. Children formed two groups and each group had to chose 2 numbers in order to find pairs.

After that, Rocio played the audio for the first time to complete a worksheet and the second time to filling in the blanks. They put a poster on the board with the conversation of the listening and gave to students the missing words, so they had to paste them in order to complete the conversation.

At the end, students made a survey and drawn what chores they do in their houses.

Then, my group taught reading about ''Household Chores''. I started with a Simon says activity. I was asking for school's objects. I divided them in two groups so the group who arrived first got the point.

Then, I started with the presentation of the vocabulary. I gave wool to each of them to match the picture with the name of the activity.

After, Fatima provided to them the reading and read it for the first time. Then, children underlined the vocabulary about household chores that they found in the reading.

Students read for the second time,  and Diego gave them a worksheet of true and false sentences. When they finished Diego provided them a special color changer ball, every time the ball changed its color the student who had the ball had to share what they had in the sheet. Students really enjoyed this activity.

At the end, Fatima gave them some pages to write a short paragraph about what chores their family and they do. Then, the kids passed a little ball while Diego was playing a song using maracas, when the song stopped the student who had the ball had to share the short paragraph he/she did before.

This was everything for this Friday my group and I were very excited because we reached our objective. The kids learned and enjoyed at the same time.
All the groups taught about Household chores, but with different skills such as vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading.
